Since I was a teenager I always wanted a Jag after I saw my first XKE. Two years ago I bought by first, a beautiful used 2003 S-Type 3.0. What a great car. I wasn't satisfied with having just the S-type.......... Last year I bought a used 2005 XK8 Carbon Fiber Edition convertible. And I love them both! The only complaint I have had is the uncomfortable seat in the XK8......... You get used to it after awhile.

Yes.... a completely different seat in the XK8 compared to the S-Type (very comfortable). Maybe my rear is just too sensitive :-) I was watching one of those car shows that show and tell about older classic cars and the XKE of old was featired. They described that driving it more than 50 mi at one time and you would need a resident chiropractor! I believe the previous owner was a small woman who didn't break in the side bolsters over the 60k mi she drove it.

Welcome to the forum rwm, you could try to desensitize your rear, god knows how though. or maybe try one of those blobby type seat mats. LOL

Enjoy the forum, and your cars.
