New to Jag Forum
Hi my name is Dave and I am new to thye JAGUAR ownership and forum. I purchased a 1999 Jag XK8 from a friend and looks and ran perfect for the first 3 months. I blew the engine after having the oil changed somehow no apparent leaks but low on oil. The entire top end and lower end was rebuilt and now my mechanic can't figure out why it's hard to start and stalls at low speed. Runs perfect otherwise. He replaced the Throttle Position Sensor by the advice of another mechanic but can't fix the problem. I just put over $5,000 on my 99' Jag and starting to regret the purchase. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I live in gthe Costa Mesa Ca area and looking for a local good and honest mechanic as I am losing faith in mine. Not sure how to check post for replys so best way to reach me is via e-mail @ davidautry@hotmail.com. Thanks
