Hi Forum,
I am new as of yesterday. I inherited a 2007 Jag XKR with 31,000 miles. The engine, drive train seems fine, but the car's check-engine light is on, and cruise control does not work. It needs smog check. I do not have an owner's manual.
Any quick-fix recommendations?

Welcome to the forum chucksci,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
