New to Jags
I just purchased my first jaguar last week, I was looking for an x308 XJR for about a year now and have seen many poor examples for way to much money lol. I was crushing the Facebook marketplace and found an post that was about 4 months old in Spanish for a XJR. But it didn’t have the correct wheels. Looking around the forum I figured out it was a 2000 VDP S/C. I took the 3 hour drive down to Dallas with a Spanish speaking friend and bought it for 3000. I couldn’t be happier I’ve been scouring the forum for months soaking in information and it’s been extremely helpful, so thank you everyone in advance.

Welcome to the forums.
You did good. I saw one in Georgia that interested me, a 2008 with 36,000 miles for $20,000. The problem was it had been hit on all four corners. It looked perfect but after four accidents it's not worth that much.
Enjoy the drive.

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
It sounds like you've already found your way to the X308 forum looking for advice to help with your purchase so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Southwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-southwest-37/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
