Greeting all!
I bought a 2002 XK8 -“Conversion” recently and love the car!
*** Edited*** It has an aluminum block V8 from a Camaro along with a T56 6 speed manual transmission in it. I've always loved the looks of the XK, but never dreamed of owning one until this popped up. I've restored a few vintage american muscle cars but never had a English built auto.

Hello,
Those of us who drive and Prefer Jaguars fitted with replacement V8 engines also prefer the term Conversion, and find "lump" to be a bit derogatory.
We also understand the disrespect (or not) depends upon who is delivering the remark.
Congratulations on your new *Converted* Jaguar!
I'd drive that!
