Just talked to Jaguar USA and they told me i cannot put a stereo in my 06 xj8 base model. Is this true? I need a stereo that has bluetooth, steering wheel controls, and expandibility. The people at jag told me i could not retrofit because it would not work with the software. PLEASE HELP

Looks like I am going to enjoy the forum more than I enjoy the Jag. It is in the shop for the fifth time since i have bought it 3 weeks ago. My taillights were flashing and all systems failed today on the freeway. I am seriously wondering if i made a mistake.

 

From around 2000 onwards, Jaguars have become increasingly sensitive to battery condition. If there's all kinds of strange electrical behaviour, get the battery checked and eliminated as a possible cause first.
