New to Jaguar ownership and Forums
Hi
I'm a retired machinist who has always loved Jags and decided to make the leap into the classic world of cars with a 1990 XJS Coupe V12! It runs and drives and was in my price range.
I'm hoping to keep it that way and raise it up to a reliable car that I can take for a drive when I need time to regenerate life energy. I'm not a great mechanic but I follow directions pretty well and hopefully this will not prove to be over my head but I'm going to enjoy finding out.
So far this Forum has been friendly and full of good info, I like the idea of having community of people with the same interests to keep out of trouble and I hope to be a good member and maybe help in the future with the knowledge I gain with this endeavor.
I live in the Idaho Falls area of Idaho in the US maybe I'll see you on the road soon.

Welcome to the forums Poppa doing it,
Good to have you with us.
I can see you've already found your way to the XJS forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Western Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/western-us-ak-ca-nv-ut-hi-wa-id-38/ to find other members in your region.
I've added vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. If you want to change these, go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham

Hello, Pat,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar V-12!
Some day, when everything gets Just Right (not holding my breath for that one) I'd like to have a Jag like you have,
In the meantime, Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
