Default New to me '04 XJ8 in RVA

Hi all...new member in Richmond, VA. I recently picked up an '04 XJ8 just after Thanksgiving and am loving it so far. Car goes in to the dealer this week for a few minor repairs as part of the purchase (headliner and a small ding in the RF fender). I really love the forum and look forward to more Jag enjoyment in the years to come.

In case you were curious...the vehicles in my signature are part of the immediate family I get to enjoy on a regular basis. Love being from a car family!

Welcome to the forum GMills78,

Congratulations on the XJ8.

When the dealer inclusive repairs are over, you may want to be 'hands on' with repairs and maintenance or just get to know your XJ8 better. Follow this link XJ ( X350 & X358 ) XJ6 / XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X350 section for help, advice and information.

No need to prompt you to add vehicle details to your Sig as you've already done that - thanks. It helps everyone when reading or responding to posts.

You can also visit the US Mid Atlantic Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/mid-atlantic-md-va-dc-de-wv-65/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham

Welcome to the forum ! There are plenty of people who can help you sort out any problems you might get with this fine car. I presume you know it is constructed of aluminium; there is very little steel in the car at all. I call my car "my aircraft fuselage on four wheels" as it uses airframe construction techniques to assemble the bodyshell (rivets and aerospace quality glue)

Thanks for the welcome everyone! I've already learned quite a bit just surfing around (like the easiest way to get an aux-in to the standard Alpine HU).

That I do Fraser...it's amazing how "small" the car drives considering its size.
