My name is Daniel, I'm 18 years old and live in Stettler Ab, Canada. I bought myself a 2003 X-type 2.5L with 157000 kms. Everything worked fine when I bought it but after driving it home it has acquired a knocking or ticking in the engine. I did put regular gas in it but after getting it home I added some octane booster and topped it off with premium. The sound did not seem to go away so the next thing i'm going to check is the torque converter.

I'll keep posting my progress and definitely open to any idea what it could be.
