Hello to everyone.
I am a new member to the forum, and look forward to learning from all of you. I will be getting a 1993 XJ6 from a friend of mine and hope to restore it. I am a shade tree DIY and love to fix things. I am a christian, and a retired Air Force Staff Sargent. I currently work as a Police Officer in North Carolina, and love my job. I work on cars to take a break from work, and keep me on an even keel. I don't know much about the new vehicle with all of the computer control junk, but the older vehicles are more my cup of tea.

A very warm welcome to the forum, home to the friendliest bunch of Jaguar fans you will find anywhere :-) If I may I would like to offer you a couple of pointers to get you started on here..
On the top right of any pages here you will see a CP button - it is well worth clicking on it and creating a signature listing your car and any info about it, as it makes it easier for people to respond correctly when replying to any posts about queries or issues about your car..
Additionally I would suggest visiting Regional - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum and entering the link there to your area for events, or knowledge pertinent to your area. Meets are a great excuse to clean and polish up your car and have a day out with like minded people putting names on here to faces and cars so if there are any nearby please consider going along :-)
I'm not sure if you have found it yet but the area on here that is specific to your car, and is where you will find all sorts of info, and can post queries regarding your car is I believe here XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
