Hi, first my user name...I'm sorry I have a cold (and my fingers were not very accurate during typing). Just bought myself a nice little 04 2.0 X type diesel with 99k on the clock, drives and looks as if it has a quarter of that milage. (Will post some pictures later, but sorry she's just a bog standard model). Unlike some members I had only just found the site today when looking for an answer to a noise related question... I found the answer in a few minutes, brilliant (not a problem after all, big sigh of relief). Looking forwards to using the site regularly.

It sounds like you've already found your way to the X-Type tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
