New member... and new to this. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Recently purchased mildly damaged '06 XJ8L. 70,000 miles. Dark Gray with black interior. In the Biloxi, MS area along Gulf Coast.

Jag drives well, but has mild hood and front bumper damage. Replaced hood and now need to determine problem(s) with air suspension system. Front bumper is marred and with heavy scarring from prior accident. Not crushed or bent. Car sat with dead battery at a body shop before I bought. Replaced battery. Front end sitting low. Opened/closed front drivers door with car sitting not running, and again with running. No change. Reset error codes and Drove at various speeds from about 5 mph to about 35 mph for about 20 minutes. Still low. Rear end is sitting high. Height does not change. Haven't heard compressor kick on. Going to check the compressor relay and fuse behind right headlamp tomorrow. Will also listen at lower left front in front of wheel for compressor running. Does anyone know of any sensors that could have been damaged from the dead-stop of the accident. From damage, couldn't have been more than about 10 mph dead center to the front bumper. Thanks for any suggestions.
Rob

Hello, Rob,
In my world that is Not "mild damage" to the hood. But my world is a little different sometimes.

Perhaps most of your problems are connected with the collision. Certainly our Xj8 section will have members who can help you out with all those things. Someone will be along shortly to direct you there.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
