Hi all, So I drove my barn find 1990 XJS home and the power steering seems a bit off, it seems to get hard to turn, but only in certain spots? The car started right up, but it does have a brake hose leaking (rear) other than that it's freaking awesome! It's going to need some minor body work and a fresh coat of paint and I'll have to freshen the interior up also of course I haven't seen another XJS around these parts though and may need some tech and parts expertise.

Good Job!! Barn finds are Always a lot of fun.
Maybe your power steering is low on fluid? At any rate, members in our XJS section will be Delighted to give you any help you need. Someone will be along soon to direct you there.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum Red89XJS,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. Not often we see 'barn find' and 'drove home' in the same sentence.

I can see you've already found the XJS forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.
