Greetings!

First, thanks for having this forum. Thanks to this, I have found a PDF of a workshop manual for an X-Type. The manual, which is ok I guess, keeps saying to reference wiring diagrams which are not in the manual.

Second, I do not own a Jaguar, of any kind. And yet, here I am...

Down to the meat and potatoes. I recently aquired a set of seats from a 2002 X-Type from a friend of mine. They are of course power, which was easy enough to figure out. However, I cannot find the pin outs for the heated seat module, thus I have no way to test the “heated” part of the seat. I am in the process of reconditioning the leather and mechanical components from under the seat. Most of the under seat work is done, had to drill out and replace a couple of loose rivets, but it is coming along nicely. So far I have only spent some time and few dollars on cleaning supplies and small bits. I would really like to be able to test the heated portion before I put them up for sale after I am done cleaning them up. Any help would be most appreciated.

Thank you again.

Welcome to the forum Thelgord,

The Electrical Guide is a separate publication from the Workshop Manual.

This is where you will find schematics for the seat modules, motors and heaters.
