Default New Member - 2014 F-Type V6S - Seattle, WA

Hello Everyone!

I live in Seattle Washington and I bought a firesand orange 2014 F-Type V6S a few weeks ago.

It is a beautiful, wonderful car. I never thought I'd own a car like this. 80s-00s, Japanese, small, lightweight, highly modified, manual transmission, and high power-to-weight is my usual MO, so this car in a lot of ways is a big departure for me, but I'm in love with it.

I've wanted an exotic looking convertible cruiser / canyon carver / daily for some time. An ND Miata (despite being an incredible car) isn't fast enough for me, and is maybe a bit too small. S2000 is probably not great as a daily, ditto about size. BMW / Audi (besides R8) is too common. AMG GT, AMG SL63, R8, Aston Martins, etc. are more than I want to spend, maybe don't look quite as exotic to me, and don't get as good of gas mileage. In short, nothing seems quite as fast, comfortable, or exotic looking for the total cost of this car.

Lastly, I'm a bit nervous owning this car out-of-warranty, but comforted by what I've read about modern Jaguar and F-Type reliability.

In any case, excited to own this car and be a part of these forums!
