Hi All, glad to be here! I've had 2 Jaguars. 1995 XJ6 & 96 XJ6 VDP. After taking a break, it's time for another. In the next 6 months I'm looking for a low mileage/mint 2005-09 XJ8 Portfolio, Super 8 or VDP in that order. Another 96-97 low mile mint XJ6 VDP wouldn't be out of the question. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome back to the forums independentman,

It's been a long time since your last post so the the XJ8 must have been troublefree?
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ack-xj8-18748/

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-x350-x358-28/ to the X350 forum for help, advice and information on the 2004-2009 XJ and this one https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xj-xj6-xjr6-x300-26/ to the X300 forum for advice on the earlier 1995-1997 XJ6. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top of each is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

You can also use the US Northeast Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-northeast-35/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums and good luck in the search for your next Jaguar.

Thank You! That sale didn't happen & I don't remember why, but I think it was on mechanical inspection. I then spent the next 3 years in the Caribbean driving a Suzuki.

Many years ago I hired a Suzuki for a month in Jamaica. It was the most extraordinary car rental I've ever done - had to leave a deposit equal to the value of the vehicle! Fortunately it was returned without a scratch and I got my deposit back in full.
