Bought my first Jag 2 years ago. Honestly, I bought it because it was in great condition and relatively inexpensive. Little did I know I would absolutely fall in love with the car. It is fun to drive and very comfortable! For a 2004, it has served me very well.
I am the principal of a small school, so my students did look askance when I first drove it to school. They all wanted to know if I had a rich uncle die.
I am glad to be part of this forum. I hope to keep this car a long time.

The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-midwest-39/ to find other members in your region.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

It's odd how Jaguars have this Mystique of being very expensive cars when they aren't actually, and very often cost less to buy used than a comparable soulless Oriental import or equally soulless domestic econo-box. The "Problem" however, if we want to call it that, is that, just as you report, owners fall in love with these cars in spite of their best intentions! We read about that in here quite a lot.
