Welcome to the forums Jagfan4468,

Flash codes are notoriously difficult to read! When there's a fault on system, turning the ignition switch to the ON position will display:

1. Warning light ON solid for six seconds.
2. Warning light goes OFF for two seconds.
3. Warning light FLASHES the appropriate number of times for the fault logged (the flash code).
4. Warning light goes OFF for two seconds.

The sequence is repeated five times then the Warning light stays ON until the ignition is switched OFF.

Members with this model will know the decode for the flash codes. Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x-type-x400-14/ to the X-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the Australia - New South wales / ACT Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/a...-wales-act-93/ to find other members in your region.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
