Greetings all
My name is Peter {wallaga] I have purchased an S type Jaguar 2006 3ltr and currently bringing it back up to scratch. Learning a lot and fixing a lot of issues that have developed through previous owners not wanting to spend the sort of money that mechanics charge these days. All not that difficult however a lot of time researching places like this one. If I can be of assistance to anyone please speak up as being retired I have the time to help
.Cheers Peter.
Wallaga is where I live.

Hello, Peter,
Congratulations on your new S-type Jaguar!
I would venture to say, All of us who have bought a Used Jaguar have had to spend time and money fixing neglect and deferred maintenance by Previous Owners. I don't think there's a better way to get to know a car though, especially if one enjoys fixing it up.

And if ya don't enjoy it, ya got no business buying a Used Jaguar.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forums Peter,

Good to have you with us.

I can see you've already found your way to the S-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the Australia - New South wales / ACT Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/a...-wales-act-93/ to find other members in your region.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

From one S-type owner to another... Welcome. The S-type forum is populated with a very friendly group and contains a wealth of knowledge.

You might want to add your general location to your profile and the car's details to the available signature line; this makes descriptions like "driver’s side" more relevant when posting to the forums...
