Hi Everyone
My name is Chris and I have joined the forum today. I live just south of Worcester and have a fairly ancient blue XK8 which needs an increasing amount of TLC (and money) to keep her going.
My other vehicles are - a Landy Defender 300tdi (running on bio) and a Massey Ferguson 135 tractor.
I am hoping to get help with a problem on the XK that my local mechanic can't solve but I shall save that for another time.
To all who might be able to help - a big thankyou in advance.
Chris

Hey CW Welcome aboard one of the friendliest sites around......99% about Jags but we are an enthusiast site, so the Massey and the Landy are welcome here too
Post up some pics when you can......
Check out the various sections, off topic, regional and detailing etc all have stuff going on and worth a peek.
I've upgraded you to full forum access so you can better view the site

Hi Birdine
You obviously have a similar problem to me. I've just replaced 4 coil packs (£400), the knock sensor, cleaned the MAFS, cleaned out the part load breather and carburettor barrel. It is now running better but it still misfires when you try to accelerate hard. I'm still looking through the forum for further help. Patience is a virtue!
