I bought a 95 xj12 one month ago. I've been looking at the posts for a few months now. I've learned so much and have been really impressed at how helpful everyone is. I figure it was time to join. I just saw you are from Sanford, Fl!
Well, I'll be. I was born there. Grew up in Lake Mary.
Moved to Orlando later in life and was in Central Florida a total of 50 years!
So you must tell me more about you!

 

Yea I grew up In lk Mary also. My parents still live there. A couple years ago I bought a house in Sanford do you still live in central Florida ?

Thank you to everyone for the welcoming. This is my first experience with a forum so please bear with me as I figure it out. As I look around this is a really great site. I downloaded the service manuals and went from hardly any info to my brain is overloaded with this car. The FAQ section is unbelievable.

Doug: those exact words in an Older thread are what opened my eyes to the xj12. I was just looking at xj6s and a little intimidated by the 12 but after seeing what you had to say about them I figured I'll give her a go. So thanks for the great info.

I'm 29 years old. I grew up in the hills of lk Mary I had friends in your area also down the road in a neighborhood named crystal ridge. A good friends grandmother own millies barbershop

 

Oh okay, so you are a lot younger than me. I know/knew the Schweikerts, Millie, Whitey and sons. Millie's son took the barbershop over didn't he. Eddie?

No we were the first in the family to move to Florida my dad moved us down from new jersey in 1988. How long since you moved away

 

I left before then. My father was from New Jersey. But I won't get started on that because I don't really know anything about that. lol
