Hello All. I am neophyte to this (or any forum) so my apologies if things don't happen as I hope.
My name is John from SE Michigan. I (or should I say my wife/boss) owns a 2004 X-type. Purchased it new back then and after a long series of NVH driveline problems and a serious crash it has been a very reliable ride. It has approximately 88k miles now and continues to purr along with only minor problems. Now is time to catch up on maintenance issues and I am very optimistic this forum will assist me with getting the car back in tip top shape.
Thanks for putting up with my stumbling around in this forum.

Hi, I have run into a maintenance problem (replacing X-Type headlamp bulb) and want to make a post with a question. I feel really dumb, because I can not figure out how to make a post to get an answer to my question.
Can you give me a hint on how to proceed?
Thank you,
John

John, you've already posted here into the new meber section, so you can do it

On the home page, scroll down the varous sections and you'll see Jaguar models
Underneath that and starting with "X type" are the various model sections
Click on the X type
Once in the X type section, look top left and you'll see the "New thread" button....
click on that and name your topic and post your issue / problem
click on submit and job done

Good luck
