Name's Mike. I own a blue 2003 xk8 coupe. Beautiful car , drives like a dream. Saw on your site a members up grade of the sound system. I want to upgrade mine to accept iPod & bluetooth connectivity plus gps if possible. I am offered an apollo system with fold out screen by local audio firm but don't much like it. Your illustration looks very good. Does anyone have any ideas on what else may be useable please.. cheers M

Welcome to the forum Mike.

Check out h20boy's thread in the XK8 section about deck replacement.

Also the Audio section is a good place to go, there are some 'pro' installers who make some great contributions to the forum. Notably phd12volt, read his posts.

Welcome to the forum,

As suggested earlier check the XK and Audio sections and post any questions you have there.

Hi, my name is joe, live in Dauphin Island AL and have played with Jags for around 35 years starting with XKE's. In the years I have owned 3 "E" types,a 66 drop head, a 66 2+2, a 70 2+2, an 88 sedan, an XJS, and now a 98 XJ8. I have a problem with the rear view mirror. I went and called Sybesta for repair info, and was told they do not repair the slide on types.
Does anyone have any other repair shops that do handle this type?

Default thanks

many thanks to all for welcoming me to this forum. I live in Adelaide, Australia & have joined because you guys seem very helpful & there is a lot of expertise out there. Please bear with me as I am feeling a little thick as I do not quite know how to ask a question on an audio matter. I have access to the xk audio info but where can i locate the area to type in the request? cheers Mikem
