New member---97 XK8 Convertible
Purchased this one owner, 46k miles black with black top, coffee leather via pictures only. Upon onsite inspection, found a few “minor problems”, bought it anyway and drove it home, 1250 miles to the north. Once we got it home, replaced rt frnt wheel bearing, idler pulley, both front shocks, brake rotors, pads, sway bar bushings. Probably was lucky to get it home with no major trouble, just no heat……
Body and interior is in very good condition. It is 11 years old….
Thanks already to many members for advice. We’ll be using this forum a lot for some direction.
This is my first Jag and it may be just a mid-life thing but this XK8 is the most fun I’ve had in a long time. I’ve cleaned everything I can get to, waxed and waxed some more. I go to the garage 2-3 times a night and pat her. Oh no I’m hooked aren’t’ I ?????

CONGRATS ........... looks great, I just love those classic lines. It's nice to hear that I'm not the only one who stops by the garage for a visit!
