Hello All,
I am once again an owner of a Jaguar. I have the 2002 x type 2.5L that I will be slowly restoring unless I find an XJ model of my liking.
I spent 4 years in Newmarket, England and loved it. My first Jag was a 1968(I believe) V8 that I learned to take apart.
We had a 67 Daimler and a 72 XJ12 in the family I believe at one point. I never cared for the design on the 70's 80's XJ's until I actually drove one. It is difficult to explain how nice it is to drive them.
Anyway, I am enjoying the x type and have my work cut out for me. Looking at some of these post is making me feel like I bit of more than I can chew but I am trying not to be overwhelmed. I will work on one thing at a time.
Thank you in advance for your advice and patience.

Welcome to the forum Buddy,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I know you've already found your way to the X-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
You can also visit the US Southwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-southwest-37/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
