Default new member but previous jaguar owner

i am a retired physician and after a long time i have returned to the jaguar fold. we have previously owned a 1964 mk 2 and a 1969 xke 2+2. my wife said it was time to once again own an "adult " car so we now have a 2011 xjl . so far no problems at 16,000 miles but i do put it on a battery tender once a week to keep it well charged ( recent new battery due to failure to retain a charge). looking forward to gaining new knowledge through the forum. love the idea of the 5 yr warranty on the 2011's .

welcome to the forum - recommend checking out the XJ section for info and answers to any technical questions that may arise. This is a great place full of info and supportive folks ready to help - best tool in the owner's tool box. Enjoy

Welcome to the forum drno,

You should have kept the MK2 and XKE - both even more desirable now than when they were new.

Follow this link XJ ( X351 ) - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X351 section for help, advice and information.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You may also like to visit the US Southwest Region section by following this link Southwest US - AZ TX NM OK - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Default Just got 1st Jaguar.

Friday I bought a used 1994 XJ6, with 96k miles on it.
Saturday I drove it 120 miles to Albany to check it out, and back Sunday.
It seems great.
Very happy with the car after 3 days.

Jaguars never crossed my mind before, it just never seemed possible,
but this one came along and things worked out just right.

I used to drive Mercury Cougars and used forums like this quite a bit for that car. I'm hoping this place will be as useful.
