Hello all,

My name is Jim and my wife is Kelly (this is important as she's why I'm here) and we live in the Austin, TX area.
We (meaning she...lol) is purchasing a silver 2001 XK8 (sport) with 72k on the clock. I haven't gone through the service history yet but it appears to have been impeccably maintained to date. Deal should be final by Wednesday (9/16) and I figured I would get a head start on finding out more about her....uh...our new toy. Looking forward to exploring the board and meeting fellow enthusiasts.

Jim

Welcome Jim and Kelly.

Jim, you must adopt a new understanding, Kelly is "The Minister for Everything", and all your Jag troubles will be gone.

I amassed 11 with that understanding, down to 2 now, as my common sense kicked in as age took hold.

The group on the XK8 area will certainly put any questions to rest for you both.

Welcome to the forum Jim,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk8-xkr-x100-17/ to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

I can see you've already found the USA Southwest Region forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
