Hey everyone, my name is Conrad. Looking to purchase a new-to-me car soon, mix of a daily and a winter vehicle to get to the slopes. Started my search looking at AWD wagons (because SUVs are boring :P), and while looking at the V60s, V90s and E wagons, I came across an XF Sportbrake. Well, I fell in love instantly and am now trying to find the right one. Excited to be here and looking forward to the journey!
Thanks Daf11e, Grant, and o1xjr!
Welcome to the forums Conrad,
From other posts, it looks like you are buying the exhaust first!
Enjoy the forums and good luck in the search for your Sportbrake.

Once I find the one, she'll be going into the signature for sure! Everyone here has their beauties on display. Love it!
Yes! Thanks ElinorB! Still looking for the right one, but hopefully sooner than later she'll come around.
Welcome Conrad. There was a recent thread in the X150 forum discussing the XK owners views on the Sportbrake. Good luck on your search!

Welcome. I had to research the Sportbrake a bit and ran into a Motorweek vid on youtube that started off with saying station wagons are boring and the Sportbrake offers crossover utility in a gorgeous package. So it may be the exception. Not surprising when it comes to Jaguar. It will be hard to define the difference between a sedan, station wagon and (as the name suggests (crossover) SUVs going forward.
In any event, you came to the right place for information. Check out some of the model specific forums and ask a lot of questions. Best of luck in your mission and happy to have you on the forum.

Thanks sklimii!
Thanks! You're right about that Melissa8, I haven't been here long but have already gotten great answers. I see you're new as well! Welcome, and enjoy the XJ8, a beautiful car!
Thanks V7Sport! I'll have to check out the thread - I hope it's good things being discussed, hahaha.
Thanks J5hort, glad to be here!
There is a definitely a blur in the lines now when it comes to classifications of certain vehicles. Was looking at the GLA45 and somehow they are calling it an SUV - the thing is small! Whatever it takes to make a sale I guess... No doubt the Sportbrake is a wagon however - and a great looking one at that (IMHO)

Found the thread! Thanks for the lead on it. Funnily enough, the Rosello Red Sportbrake the OP mentions in his thread is the one I test drove. Small world!
