Default New Member in GA, XJ6 at the moment

In Atlanta area. Figured I might as well sign up, as I appear to be the designated mechanic for a granddaughter's 1996 XJ6, and periodically search the threads here for info. May not post often, but will lurk about and ask a question or two, or offer what I know, depending on what I have at the time.

In the Brit-car division, my own car history includes a '66 E-type roadster and a '54 MGTF. Been trying to interest my wife in a mid-90's XJS convertible. (Need more garage space)

Current hobby cars include C6 Corvette Z51, '88 Fiero Formula, and '67 Camaro. (Yeah, need more garage space)

For anyone interested, will be posting a (multi-part?) question on installing a replacement upper timing chain tensioner shortly.

Cheers, C.
