Hello everbody,
my name is Sven and I live in the northern part of Germany. I use a XJ6 (X300) with 3.2 ltr engine as an every day car for over five years now.
I am doing most of the maintenance and repairs by myself, so I will try to document my work with some photos to contribute some interesting help to this forum.
And here is my pride and joy:
I purchased it 2014 with a mileage of 100.000. Before that it has been standing around for nearly 8 years doing less than 2000 mls in that time frame.
After changing oll lubricants, brake fluid and spark plugs I pressed it into service again and in the first two years it clocked up more than 40.000 mls on german autobahns without missing a beat. I was really impressed by the reliability and smoothness, the car showed.
Nowaday I am using it still as a daily driver, but I avoid to use it in the winter with its salty road conditions.
For this I have another iconic british car :

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
