Hello, all.
My name is James, and I recently bought an 1989 Jaguar XJ-S. I am an 18 year old man who usually only has an interest in computers, but I fell in love with classic Jags... Just something about them... America can't begin touch... Made me wanna learn how to fix cars.

I've been looking for a Jaguar of my liking to come into the picture for a while. She fit the bill. She has a Chevy 305 in her. She does have a fair bit of rust(sunroof leaked). Her body on the outside is great, but its paintjob is showing its age. I got her for 1,400$, which is a lot cheaper than the other XJ-S in my area.

I know she needs a lot of work. Me and my dad (aka my mechanic) are handy men and do everything ourselves. I have plans for it, and I'll try to picture and document it all and such. Thanks all for any future help... I'll need it xD

Well, that pretty much sums up me and my new love.

Hello, James,
Jaguars have those effects on people. Once they get into your heart, you're doomed.

Welcome from ElinorB.
