I have been reading the forum for a while now and thought it was about time to join since i have recently brought a 2008 XKR.

Congratulations on the XKR,

As you've been reading for a while, you probably laready know your way around here but if not, follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk-xkr-33/ to the XK/XKR section for help, advice and information.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

I have lived in Dubai for a few years now and the climate is not at all to be envied when the tempeartures get up to 40+ degrees during the summer.

Thanks Muddy Dog. I am enjoying the car a lot, although it is only my weekend drive. Daily driving in the UAE. Is a bit risky to say the least.
