Seeing as one of Honolulu's independant Jaguar repair shops moved to a location sorta nearby me on the Big island, I've made the plunge, first Jag!

I'm new to forums in general- whats a "tag"?

I didn't really want a new thread, but here it is.

I haven't even seen or driven her (are jags female?)- she's coming on the barge on monday from Oahu. (had a bonus coming, made the gamble)

It makes total sense to me to buy a car the repair shop for which is nearby. In fact, it's a Bonus that it happens to be a Jaguar shop! How fortuitous!

Most Jaguars are girls, yes. Only a small percentage are boys. As it's Your car, you can assign it any gender you want.

I can see you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

The first person i ever knew who owned a jag, was a "Graham"; a friend's roommate/landlord in Golden, Colorado, a petroleum engineering student at Colo School of Mines back in late 70s, early 80s......
