New member - hello!
Hi all,
I've been lurking around here for a while and I've finally signed up, hoping to add some knowledge and learn some stuff too. My name is Theo, I'm a Mechanical Engineer from the UK. I have always been a Jaguar fan, but my main reason for joining up here is to gain and share some knowledge about the XJ40, as I maintain a 1993 3.2s.
Other than doing stuff to that, I also keep myself busy with an old Chevy Corvette in the garage - which oddly seems to have got a lot less attention since I became a Dad a few years back!
Back on the Jaguar front, right now my main project is recommissioning a dealer diagnostic scanner/PDU system which I have acquired. There looks to be a fair bit of information on here about these slightly idiosyncratic systems, so I'm looking forward to learning a bit, and sharing what I can find out along the way.

The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Thank you very much Graham,
I have also started a thread in the XJ40 area, relating the PDU/scanner stuff, and I got a message saying it would be checked by the admins before being made live, so I guess I will await that check.
