New Member Here in Texas!
Hi I recently posted a problem I have been having with the battery drain on my 2002 Jaguar S-Type and received some wonderful advise. I noticed a pdf attachment to one of the posts and found that I have not been properly introduced and cannot open the pdf. Please let me know what else needs to be done to complete the process - sorry - I really do want to follow the rules! TXredhead
Thank you for the welcome, Gary. So glad I'm getting closer to home with the posts. I'm looking for a good Jag mechanic other than the dealerships. Also need a good paint/body/detail shop that I can trust in the area. Any suggestions?
WElcome, I trust you can fix your car

Welcome Txredhead. For a mechanic, there is a very good one in Boyd that was formerly at Autobahn Jaguar for 8 or 10 years. I found him via a reference from some of the guys currently working at Autobahn. Not sure that is overly convenient for you in Grapevine, but he's been great for me when I get in too deep on my own.
Welcoming another texan, and a neighbor too! I've got some advice for ya if you'll allow me to continue...for independent jag mechancs, i recommend Bob (motorcarman on this forum) he's in decatur, used to work at a jag dealer in the metroplex, he's good. Also, british auto specialists in ft worth is my other go-to shop, loc, ated on 121 NE of downtown.
if u want a great body shop, i recommend caliber collision on 7th street and University, the jag, volvo, mercedes and porsche dealer nearby recommends to their customers and uses them for their work. I've used them three times...paintwork and repairs are excellent.
jim has give u full forum access, enjoy the forum.

+1 on H2Oboy's recommendation of Bob in Decatur. 'Zactly the one and the same as the man I referenced above in "Boyd." Yes, a Decatur address, but if you are headed to his shop, it is much closer to Boyd- which is goodness if you live in the metroplex!
