Hello everyone, I am in North Carolina.... I just bought my first Jag, used. I am especially enjoying it as it is a stick shift, sort of sportier than the auto transmission (IMHO).

I am anxious about getting more information on my vehicle and can't access the .pdf files for my VIN number... The body shop told me my car had four of the dark green paint colors and they are doing their best to match. I wanted to confirm.... Word of honor, I am NOT a spammer

 

There should be a color code listed on your driver's door.. and you may not be able to access the pdf files yet since you're new, but here's an external link that might help. Jaguar parts for XJ6, XJ12, XJS, XJ40, Stype, Xtype, XJ8, XJ

 

Thanks GoKittyGo. I am a forum novice (of any kind), how do I post a thread in the right area? My newest emergency is that the instructions to set up bluetooth aren't working. One of the X-Type links sent me to a site where I put in the last four digits of my VIN and this combination is totally unresponsive to my audio system:

Enter ##3#*# using the keypad and press the green Send/End icon (“Discover me” appears on the screen)

It just isn't happening for me.... Nothing at all.
