Hi I am Kevin. I live in Ulster. I have a Jaguar xj8 2000. It was originally sold to first owner in the Irish Republic. I have picked it up and am importing into UK. Just about to get a UK plate for it. I did post that I need some information on a message that I intermittently get about Reduced Performance. So would appreciate any thoughts on it. The beast appears to run fine other than for that issue... I love this style of Jaguar. The wife hates it because it is Green. But hey whats wrong with old racing green. This car is going to be my hobby

Is it straightforward to import a vehicle from the Republic?

I can see you've already found your way to the X308 tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
