new member intro
Hi, All
I just joined this forum, having plucked up the courage (?) to buy my first Jag, in my case a 1996 Daimler Six, here in Switzerland. It has a full history, and as I write is having another one to check all is in order.
I already fixed the clock, I understand a common problem and a few other things to sort, all minor like paint or leather...(as far as I am aware). She has about 75000 miles, 120,000k, and purrs like a cat on cream - God I love it! My wife also tolerates this versus all the others..
A bit of a yougtimer and car fan I also have
86 Mercedes W126 300SE (120k km)
91 BMW E34 525i (52k km)
13 Porsche Boxster
13 BMW M135i X drive
14 BMW X1
15 BMW 116d

I can see you've already found your way to the X300 tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Congratulations on your acquiring First Jaguar!
I don't understand why any wife would object to having a car of such obvious class sitting in the driveway, as opposed to those other Brand X things. (smiling)
