New Member Intro - 1971 E-Type Coupe
Hello. I have recently registered with the Jaguar Forums.
A few years ago, I purchased a 1971 E-Type SII Coupe as a project (see photo of the pile 'o parts). The previous owner took it apart 30 years ago. I've been working steadily. The body work is done (replaced some panels, and repaired some rust); I just dropped it off for painting yesterday. The motor is almost done. The gearbox is finished. Many other parts and subassemblies are done or have been replaced, and are ready to go back on the car. The IRS, a wiring harness, and an interior kit are next up. I've been enjoying the project!
