new member intro
I'm normally not a joiner, and my kids call me "the hermit", but I've seen so much good info on this forum over the years, I'm finally in..
I'm an old Jaguar fan - owned one or more since the late '60s, 1 of almost every model or series, from the XK120 through the X-100 era.
Sold most of the valuable ones years ago when I needed the money to buy something else, or to partially cover a bad business deal.
Currently own a 2002 XJR-100, 2005 XK8 coupe, plus 1ea, 2006 XK8 coupe, convert and R convert victory eds, all bought over the last 15 years.
My daily driver is the silver 2005 coupe, but it's routinely rotated with the others - all are garaged, on trickle charge and run weekly..
Although I have all the tools and electronic gadgets, I'm no longer smart or nimble enough to do any serious work on them.
i'm between San Antonio and Houston and have access to excellent longtime, non-dealer mechanical support in each city.
May not make many posts and may not be of any help, but I obviously love the cars and enjoy the conversations - thanks
