Glad to be aboard.

Moved to the Pawleys Island area of SC earlier this year from Northern Virginia.

Have previously owned a 2000 XK8, 2005 S-Type 4.0, 2007 X-Type, and a 2007 S-Type 4.2.

The 2007 S-Type (Lunar Grey / Charcoal) was my favorite but I sold it in 2010. It had a little over 13,000 miles on it. Regret that decision.

Currently, between Jaguars but am attempting to close a deal on another 2007 S-Type 4.2 (one owner / 21,000 miles).

I've joined the Jaguar forum to:

(1) Gather some information on maintenace issues associated with 2007 S-Types. As my previous one was bought new and sold before it was really broken in, I have no appreciation for any 2007 S-Type issues that may have arisen over the past six years; and

(2) If I purchase the 2007 S-Type on which I'm negotiating, then I hope the forum will provide a venue for useful information, sharing Jaguar experiences, and finding local Jaguar enthusiasts.
