New Member intro and question
Hello all!
My name is Stan(rcinc01). I am located in East Rockaway NY 11518. Have a 07 Jaguar Xtype. V6, 4 door AWD.
Yesterday, I was swapping out the factory radio with a new Pioneer AVH-W4400NEX DVD Receiver. someo reason it didnt not fit properly although I was told that was the one for this car. I put back the old radio and car would not crank over. I don't know if I somehow tripped the anti theft system and stopped it from starting. Car receives all power to windows, doors but will not start. the light in front of the gear shift was blinking red, then now it looks like its just a steady red. Tried disconnecting batter for hour/over night but still no start. wondering if this would trip the inertia switch as part of the anti theft system? can anyone offer some tips to look into? Thanks .
