2007 Jaguar X-Type anti theft turned on. was trying to change car radio. now car wont start. receives power but wont turn over. thinking antitheft system kicked in. is there a way to disable it?

No realistic way to disable it, but if it's in anti-theft you will have codes to say why. What are they? Also, likely flash code on the PATS light.

 

When you say you were trying to change the radio do you mean that you were physically removing the radio itself to put in another? If so, if the radio was out and you tried to start the car, that is your problem. I don't recall the sexact pecifics of the situation, but the radio is connected to the internal sysyem of the car and if it is out the "loop" in the sysyem is not complete. If that describes your situation if you do a search on here I'm sure you can find more about it.
