Hello Everybody,

I finally got my dream car 5 months ago.
XJ8 Executive V8 3.2.
2001, about 96.000Km.

Everything was fine, except that due the fact I work away on ships, I left her in the garage.
Despite regular starts every 15 days for half an hour, finally the battery went flat.

Now even if the battery it's back on, and even if motor start and run fine, dashboard showing errors and shift it's locked in P position.

Searching for answers, I found the Forum!
I will post a resume of this problem in the XJ8 X308 sections.

Ciao,

Alessandro

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

As you work away, a battery tender such as CTEK is going to be an essential to avoid this kind of trouble.
