Default New member looking for 2000 S-Type Parts

I have a 2000 S-Type V6 -- owned from new. Now have potential life-threatening (for my car) check engine light.

Local Jag dealer did ran diagnostics and ran a smoke test and determined that it's likely a problem with one of four hoses on the fuel tank. They did nit go any further because the parts are no longer available through their system.

I've managed to locate three of the four hoses, but cannot find the fourth -- a fuel return hose (Part Number XR817571)

If I can't locate that part, there's no point in taking the next step in a repair and I'll have to junk the car.

Welcome to the Forums.

There is always an alternative, just need to think outside the square a tad further.
Thats how I keep the 1963 beast alive.

Good luck.

Hello,
As Grant above mentions, there are Always work-arounds for hoses.
And, members of our S-type section will certainly be able to direct you to one or more of their favorite parts sources.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
