Hey, Everyone!
Thanks for being here!
Came on here yesterday looking for info on a battery issue, and after a good search, and some back n forth, I gained some useful info, and got my kitty snarling again.
So, I joined up. Looking forward to the experience. Thank you to all who provided their knowledge!!
So anyway... the "new member" intro..
After a long search, and being very picky, I found this gorgeous Firesand orange, 2016 F-Type R convertible, with every factory option, ten thousand miles, and it was CPO at a dealer in Illinois. Called them, put on a deposit, and flew out from NY a few days later n drove it back. 1100+ miles of "getting to know you" time. NICE!
What an incredible machine! Never in a million years did I think my garage would ever house such a beast.
And so far, other than it's apparent disdain for any use of the OBD-II port (the cause of battery problem), she has been a good kitty.
But she sounds so ANGRY! Gotta love it!
All the best to all my fellow Jag owners.
Thanks again for all the help!
Good to have you with us. I wasn't a fan of Firesand when I saw it on a Coupe but it really suits the Convertible.
I can see you've already found your way to the F-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. You can also use the US Northeast Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-northeast-35/ to find other members in your region.

Oh good! It Does look Snarly! Congratulations!
It's a little known phenomenon that what you called a "Getting to know you" drive, is Really the Bonding portion of a new relationship.
From here on you can comfortably DRIVE THE WHEELS OFF!
