Hi all
Just introducing myself, as per site etiquette!
Just got my first Jag - 1994 XJ Sport (X300?) 3.2l, 125,000 kms. Googled searching for advice on my sticky drivers seat switch and this seems to be an amazing resource, and I am sure I will be back again and again for guidance.
Look forward to having the restrictions lifted so I can look at some of the info about how i go about removing the seat switch, and swapping the the passenger and driver controls over. Hoping that this simple fix will work as two of us with different heights drive the car!

The XJ's always confuse me - the X300s started in 1995 so yours could be an XJ40.

Welcome to the forum Oliver,
1994 was the final year of the XJ40 and 1995 the first year of the X300 but XJ Sport 3.2 is an X300 description. If it looks like this, it's an X300:

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Enjoy the forum.

thanks everyone. I am in Wellington Cadmium and yup, I have the car that looks exactly like the picture GGG - so a XJ Sport 3.2. Loving it, just getting to grips with trying to iron out some of the idiosyncrasies, some more important than others.
The one major concern I have is an electrical harness looks like it has been disconnected in the upper right hand corner of the engine bay as you stand at the bumper looking back at the. Not super mechanically inclined but will do some googling and see if i can figure out what on earth it is. None of the dash lights come on suggesting anything is amiss.
