Hi All,

Purchased my first Jaguar (1986 XJS V12) for my wife and wanted to join a forum to help me find my way and share.

I live in North Jersey (Clifton) and was hoping someone can point me to a good (and affordable) mechanic that could do all the preventive maintenance and give the car a good all around inspection before we start using it regularly.

Additionally, any advice as to upgrades we can make to the car to increase reliability?

A way to find a local mechanic is to check the North East US Region though this link North East US - ME NH VT MA RI CT NJ NY PA - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum for members in your region.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
