Hi,
I have just bought myself a X-type 2.2 diesel SE, i have been looking at S types as well.
As fuel economy was needed, I narrowed it down to either a 2.1 petrol, or one of the diesels.
As the bhp was similar, the mpg was the deciding factor, time will tell !
Over the years I have had a various mix of cars, the last one being an old Mazda 626, which has done well.
I need to familiarise myself with the Jag, as I have never owned one, as well as never owned any diesel car !
