Default New member, please help

hi there,
im Caroline, in new to here and just bought my first ever jag but seem to of been conned by the car dealer. Since I bought the car it runs like it's got a fuel blockage sometimes, it only does it when I'm using petrol mode, it runs great on LPG and the engine management light goes off but as soon as I switch to petrol the orange light comes back on and starts jumping like it's going to conk out. I've looked up the fault codes and it came up with 7 faults , OMG! They saw me coming😡😡😡. I will list the codes, I do know it's misfiring on cylinder 2 and 6 .

P0300, P0302, P0306, P1314, P1316, P1646, P1647 . I spoke to the garage, gave them the codes and they said it was simple and just needs sensors changing, I know that isn't the case, from the day I went to dealer I was lied to, took me for short test drive after running the car for a while first, we set off and I asked why the engine management light was on and he said not to worry it would go off when petrol was put in it as it had been run dry. Being stupid I believed him after him saying if anything went wrong with car they will put it right. It's a very long story but they are trying to get out of putting the car right. I think it needs too much doing to it and want my money back. Could anybody tell me what you think and also what the codes mean please
Caroline 🤔🤔👍👍

Welcome.

I suggest a re-post of the issues and codes in the X Type Tech section.

If that was a jaguar dealership that is bad then again they are not going to make much with a x type so they probably didn't care for it
